Restraining order in mass

I recently kicked out now my ex-boyfriend and my children's father to to verbally and mentally abuse and him using drugs on top of that he's also bipolar they gave me a restraining order for 10 days and then I have to go to court on the 22nd to extend it can anybody give me any any advice and maybe how the process goes when I go on the 22nd? I feel relieved and hurt and so sad.

Before the before he went to rehab he was doing coke and zanex I gave him one chance

And things got bad the kids were scared he was yelling at them for everything

Now I am were I am today this is my only 2nd with him out the house today was a struggle of extremely high anxiety that I never had before.
