My bd family begging me to get back with him

We recently broke up he was cheating, not supporting us as a family at all and he went to jail for assault for a week and said he’s being charged with attempted murder because he hit me while I’m pregnant. Idk if it’s true but that’s what she said.

His aunt said he was crying saying in jail he just gave up on life, he lost his car and his job.

He misses his daughter and loves me and he feels and he wanna be there for us and our unborn baby.

I do feel bad for him mostly because he hasn’t seen our daughter in a month now. And she probably misses him she’s a toddler.

I’m afraid if I take him back, he will do the same thing. Idk if jail scared him straight but, if I take him back and he does the same thing jokes on me.

Of COURSE I’d love to have my family but this man literally left us in the house when he broke down the door to go see the girl he cheated on me with every night, eventually brought her to our home when I wasn’t there with my daughter, she even called me a bitch through text n he still

Entertaining her, can’t even buy our daughter a $50 car seat, pushed me down and dumped my bag cause he thought I took the girl debit card, the list can go on for dayssss.

I know it’s old news and I definitely miss him but I was already trying to fix my life and find someone else. I just Don’t know what to do I always think about him now.
