Doctor can’t find baby, help

Hey mommas, I need your help. Last night I was having pink discharge, today I had brown spotting with pain on my lower left side by my ovary. I called the doctor and she said go to the ER. They checked my cervix, it’s closed. Thank God. They did a ultrasound on the belly and vaginally and couldn’t find the baby. They checked the Fallopian tube and couldn’t see anything either. They told me to come in in 2 days to check my levels again because I was 1,050 (I’m 5 weeks btw). Has this happened to anyone before? Is this normal? Should t my levels be higher? I got NO answers today I’m freaking out
