No period & negative test?

So, a little background info. I was diagnosed with PCOS in March of 2020. I went straight into taking Metformin. I always have a period every 28-29 days on my own & ovulate myself most months. In July I had a chemical pregnancy, and took 2 rounds of Femara after that, ovulated, no pregnancy. I had an appointment Monday (I was 4 days late at this time with all negative test) and my doctor didn’t seem one bit concerned, wouldn’t do blood work or anything. She sat my husband up for his SA later this week, and told me to do another round of Femara... problem is, I still haven’t started my period, to start the Femara. She says if my husbands results are bad she wants us to jump right into IUI or IVF (which we cannot afford so that’s a big NO for now..) my question here really is, have any of you been pregnant but still have negative test? Honestly I am afraid it has implanted in the wrong place. I am never late, and this is just so odd for me. Please leave me some answers below 😅😩
