8 weeks both times. Lots of people say you “have” to wait for 12 weeks, but I wanted familial support of something went awry.

I told family at 5 weeks, I told friends at 13 weeks

I think this totally depends on your personality! I have experienced several miscarriages and for me I like to process those sorts of things with just my close family, so I wait until I hear a heartbeat on the Doppler before I tell my friends and extended family. (Roughly 12 weeks) if you are someone who likes a lot of support if something were to go wrong then you could totally announce earlier 😊

It's a personal choice. With my first we told our parents at 11 weeks & everyone else at 12 weeks. With our second we told our parents & siblings at 13 weeks, shared with a couple close friends at 17 weeks & told everyone else at 20 weeks.
