When was everyone advised to stop sleeping on their stomach?

My first pregnancy they said 20 weeks but this one they say it’s fine forever as long as I’m comfortable. Why the inconsistency?

You don’t have to stop sleeping on your stomach unless it gets uncomfortable

Never told how I could and couldn’t sleep. I just slept however I was comfortable.

When its no longer comfortable. Ive slept on my stomach all the way thru all of my pregnancies.
