COVID vaccine while TTC?

There isn’t much info about the safety of the vaccine during TTC and during pregnancy. What do you guys think? Any advice from your health providers?

My doctor said that they aren't using a live virus and there isn't use of dna or anything that can affect the gestation or your child, and that there has been women who have taken the vaccine and got pregnant right after.. my obgyn told me she is actually encouraging her staff members that are pregnant to take it, cause some of her pregnant patients have ended up practically on their death bed and she wishes the vaccine was a thing for them to have taken it, she is supplying all of her nursing staff with plenty of information and study research on it and letting them make their own choice, she has not made it mandatory to continue to work, but even after you get the vaccine you are supposed to still wear your mask and social distance.

I may get attacked by the "youre part of the problem not the solution" people but I don't trust it. I will not be getting it neither will my son. If my husband wants it then he can get it but I don't trust something they came up with within months. I'm gonna wait and see how it treats other people first

I wouldn’t take it pregnant or not.

They say to not get pregnant for a certain number of months after getting the vaccine. So you would have to stop TTC and use proper contraception for 3 months or so.

Hi! Im a nurse in NHS (Scotland) so the vaccination programme is underway- not sure if you are from UK or not but this is the current info we have been given.
