My toddler and I are having flu like symptoms. I also think he has an ear infection.

I called his pediatrician and they told me to come into the office tomorrow. I told them I’m also sick and that I’m not sure if I should come in because I don’t have my COVID test results yet. They said my only option was to come in or have somebody else take him. My son is hyperactive so that second option is out of the question because he only cooperates with me for this kind of stuff. It doesn’t feel right going anywhere knowing that I’m sick but I would like to get my son treated for an ear infection ( if he has one) before it gets worse.

Any advice? Any other options you could think of? I know this sounds so dumb so please no judgment, I’m genuinely stuck because I’m not certain he has an ear infection but he had diarrhea, on and off irritable and I seen him digging in his ear only once.
