Stretch and Sweep

My doctor swept my membranes today. I was 2cm and 70% effaced whenever she checked me, but I've been in early labor since last Saturday. I've had consistent contractions since my appointment and they seem to be getting stronger. Did anyone go into labor after their sweep?
