It took me a long time to grow strong relationships with women! It just takes finding people that line up with your values and you can get along and be real with.

I had one but she only called when she wanted something and then tried to pull me into the middle of her drama, so I quit talking to her. 
When my late husband was still here, he was my best friend. My dog was too, but she passed away 3 months before my husband. I just have my toddler and my parents now. Like, I want a friend, but I have no clue how to make friends.

I understand that. I have girl friends but now we are very much in different phases of life.  I'm married and have two small children and stay at home amd they all work/college/ have careers.   And all my "mom" friends are much older.  So even though I have friends I dont have many close friends any more
