I’m not sure how to describe this and Google really didn’t help me. I noticed this morning that my lochia is a little bit smelly. I wouldn’t call it “foul” smelling, but it is a little pungent. Like a heavier period smell, with a kind of metallic smell? It doesn’t smell so bad that it makes me gag, but the odor is a little concerning as I know I’m supposed to be watching out for “foul smelling discharge” I had my c section on the 17th, so it’s been 5 days and this is the first I’m noticing it... I don’t have a fever and I’m not filling up any pads. Does anybody have any insight? Is this normal? Should I be worried?
