Pitocin was awful until I had my epidural lol. I was crying my eyes out with every contraction at only 2cm. And I have a good pain tolerance

I wish I had gotten the epidural sooner with Pitocin!
The cramps were awful and back to back with no break!
I got the epidural at 6cm dilated and felt amazing almost immediately! I took a 3 hour nap and when I woke up it was time to push!

The pitocin wasn’t bad for me at all without the epidural. I only got the epidural because I had been in labor for so long and the nurse told me I wouldn’t be able to push if I didn’t get the epidural and sleep 🤦🏻‍♀️ 
Stupid epidural did put me to sleep but it stopped working and slowed my progression so I don’t think it was even worth it.

I was induced last week and it took less than an hour for the contractions to come strong and right on top of each other...but it took 24 hours to get dilated all the way. 
I made it 12 hours before asking for my epidural but I wish I had done it sooner. They gave me some other pain meds initially but they didn’t help as much. I honestly wish I had asked for it sooner. Once I had my epidural everything felt so much better!

Once they started me on pitocin, my contractions went from 0-100 pretty quick. I asked for the epidural and unfortunately was put in line behind 4-5 other people to get it, so it took a long while 😅 Like a lot of others have said—if you plan on getting an epidural, ask for it sooner rather than later!

My sons heart rate started dropping with each contraction after they started the Pitocin. After a day of being in labor  and them moving the dosage up and down I couldn't take it anymore and got an epidural. After pushing for a couple of hours, my epidural wore off and the doctor said I don't need anymore. They then tried to extract with two different sets of forceps and the suction (I could feel everything even though my legs were numb) they decided to do an emergency c section. Since the epidural didn't take fully I had to be put under. My boyfriend and I didn't get to experience his birth.

I had to be induced because my babies heart rate kept dropping and wasn't where they wanted it to be the Pitocin was started at 10:30pm and by the time 5:30am rolled around I got the epidural because my contractions were back to back and were so strong I was crying with each contraction it didn't help that I had awful back labor because she her back and head were pressed up against my spine so with every contraction she was pushed against my spine and it was beyond painful, after I got the epidural the contractions were much more manageable though after viewing how often and how strong my contractions were they slowed down the pitocin so maybe had they done that before I would have been able to hold off on getting the epidural for a while longer because I really didn't wanna get one at all.

Get it with the epidural. I went from 1 cm to 10 cm in 4 hours while I slept.

I only had a very, very low dose and my epidural failed. I honestly don't know what its supposed to feel like because with my twins I didn't get to labor as they were born at 32 weeks but I'd been in labor for 48 hours before I was admitted (4am 12/8 and admitted 5am 12/10) I labored without anything until around 9pm 12/10 around 10pm my body was pushing for me and I was panicked because they told me not to push 😳 they didn't tell me I'd have to fight my body. About 10:30pm they checked me again and I was almost fully dilated but had a little lip they had to move around his head as he came down. It was intense to say the least because my body took over. He was delivered at 11:31pm on 12/10 after 67 hours of labor 😅 i dont know if that's how it is without pitocin.

My son got stressed out from the pitocin and his heart rate was dropping I had to get an emergency c section , I took a epidural right away the pain was crazy
