What is this called????

So when I’m having sex and my bf goes straight into my vagina it hurts I can feel a pain in my pelvic/stomach area if he puts his dick all the way in but when I turn my pelvis to the side a little while he’s straight it feels fine, also when I put tampons my vagina doesn’t feel deep in the middle but it does on the side of it.... is this normal?

I’ve gotten an ultrasound through my vagina twice and the obgyn didn’t mention anything being wrong but the ultrasound wasn’t for this reason
