Have you ever miscarried?

Numerous woman in my family have unfortunately miscarried at one point or another, I have not but as it is to many this is a fear of mine.
  I’m wondering if this in fact is something that can more likely occur than not...

Miscarriage is extremely common just not often spoke about. My aunt was the only person in my family to have miscarried before me. Hers was an early miscarriage while mine happened at 17w1d. And just because women in your family have experienced it, doesn’t mean you will so try not to focus on that.

Approximately 1 in 4 pregnancies will end in miscarriage. It’s very common and it doesn’t necessarily mean anything is wrong. Chemical pregnancies (early miscarriages that occur in the first 5-6 weeks) are extremely common - it’s estimated that all women will have at least one during their childbearing years.
I’ve had one chemical pregnancy. My mom has had at least one.

I’ve had a miscarriage at 8 weeks, I’ve had a chemical pregnancy and I’ve had a loss in the second trimester at 20 weeks. While the earlier the miscarriage the more likely.
