Do you recommend finding out gender?

I think I want to wait until baby is born but curious what your thoughts are done 2nd time

I think this is a personal preference. For me, it was nothing to do with the bonding, but I like to plan (eg names,  clothes in advance etc) so for me, the stress of not knowing would outweigh the fun of the surprise. But I have a friend who loves surprises and was glad she waited, she said it helped her look forward to labor day. So I don't think anyone can really recommend one way or the other, it's really just your style and personality.

Im textbook type A so i hate surprises and hate having things unplanned. I always have found out because i enjoy the planning of the names, the nursery, the maternity pictures, all of that. 
Its totally up to you though! Just for me it would be too stress inducing to not find out!

It’s entirely your personal preference. I had trouble conceiving both of my kids and was so afraid to get attached that I don’t feel I truly started bonding until the scan when we found out the gender. Once they had a name and I started buying things that were specific to them, it helped a lot with bonding. I’m also a planner. My cousin didn’t find out and won’t with any other pregnancies but I don’t have that will power lol

It’s different for everyone.
I would love to be surprised like that, but I don’t know if I could hold out that long!
Maybe if we have a fourth we will try and keep it a surprise.

Like others have said it depends on the person. I didn’t find out with either of my kids and it was awesome! Didn’t feel any less bonded to them or prepared. The best part was not getting unsolicited advice about what life will be like with a girl/boy and not going overboard on the clothes shopping haha

To each their own. I did it with my first pregnancy. 
I didn’t really care for it. And that was the most detached I’d ever been with a pregnancy. 
Some swear by it. I just can’t do it again.
