Going in to be induced tomorrow, any advice?

7:30am I’m going in to be induced! Any advice? This is my second baby but first time being induced.

Get the epidural and don’t be scared of a c section!

I was induced with my 3rd. It was soooo slow. Keep and open mind to drugs and a c section. 
I ended up asking for pethadine although I hated it with my 1st. I also asked for a c section haha they refused. 
Took 11 hours from time they put me on drip til when baby was born. 
My other labours took a lot longer but it definitely felt different being induced.

Take things to keep you occupied. I was in induced Saturday 130pm and baby wasn't born until 239am Tuesday morning.

Ask if they have a portable fetal monitor.  At the hospital we go to, if you're being induced, they want you on continuous monitoring and the portable let me get up and move and change position. Being in a reclined position was so uncomfortable for me both labors and the monitors couldn't read for me sitting up.

Dont be afraid of medicine or c-section. I was induced and never wanted to take IV narcotics, but it was the best decision I could have made. Induced contractions can be worse.
