Do u need to stop Breastfeeding to get pregnant

I had to with my first. We tried for 4 months while he was still breastfeeding. Weaned him at 21 months and got pregnant the very next cycle. However I am currently 7 weeks pregnant and breastfeeding a 16 month old. So 🤷🏼‍♀️

No I was bf my now 3 year old whn I got preg with my aug baby I didn’t know I was preg intil 33 weeks though no period came bk my now 3 year old was a long term bf tried self weaning which didn’t wrk had to force her off shortly after aug baby

Got pregnant after I stopped breastfeeding my first, before that we never tried and also my first period came after 14 months it last for 2 days and came back again when my son turn 18 months and was on and off every month, month before I stopped breasfeeding was 28 days cicle and  stopped breasfeeding finallyand that was my last period before we realized I was pregnant again.

Nope, I was still breastfeeding when I got pregnant, although you need to ovulate (and get your period) in order to get pregnant and some people don't get that until they stop breastfeeding but everyone's different!
