Starting the cycle again

My husband and I conceived our daughter through fertility treatments after a year. Now we want to start trying again and I keep delaying making my gyn appt. I have to mentally prepare and I have no idea how to do that. I know I just need to take the leap and get started, but ugh I know this is going to be hard.

To top it off, my husband says "well are you sure we have to do fertility treatments again? Remember that one doc said that things could 'reset' in your body after you had our daughter. Do you think they did?" Well, the fact that I get 3 periods a year that last for over a month tells me that no, I did not "reset" and go back to normal.

I'm glad this community exists and I know there are people who get it and are going through the same things as me. That helps. Hopefully calling my doc tomorrow. 🤞
