My 14 mo just started daycare and he seems to have spent most of the day sitting on the floor and sucking his fingers...

I know it’ll take time for him to get used to as he’s been apart from other babies basically his whole life (since April) but the other toddlers were running and playing and interacting all day. Will it just take time? I wasn’t even allowed into the room at drop off so there’s no way to interact with him there to make him more comfortable. 😐

They also sleep on a cot on the floor and he’s only slept in his crib at home for naps- any tips there? Going to send him with a cozy blanket since all the other toddlers seemed to have them. Hoping that helps though we use sleep sacks in his crib. Any advice appreciated. 😩
