Should I call L&D about my symptoms?
⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING: miscarriage⚠️
I've had a miscarriage October 2018 at around 4-5 weeks pregnant. I did not feel cramping at first. I bled a lot, then felt intense pain when I passed the fetus on day 2, then some more bleeding the day after. I'm currently 5 weeks 5 days. I had intense cramping but no blood. Then hours later I have a bit of cramping and my panty liner has blood. I do not want to storm into the ER if I am okay. Should I call Labor and Delivery and ask for advice? I'm worried that I missed the signs because I was busy working. I have 2 children as well but I haven't had this happen before. Would my fetus be visible this early? I'm not sure if my due date is correct until I go to my first appointment. I'm just super worried if they won't be seen if we do go. This will be our last baby so I am anxious towards anything happening to them. Any helpful advice is welcome. Try not to be mean to me, lol.
Edit to answer without leaving anon: Labor and Delivery is where I was seen when I miscarried because it's the pregnancy unit. I was also told to call L&D for any pregnancy related questions instead of going to the ER. The ER also is risky with the coronavirus btw.
