How many of you mamas have had a water birth?

Please let me know your experience and if you have also had a natural birth, how would you compare it?

I had a natural water birth at a birthing centre with my daughter and honestly can't recommend it enough. It was amazing for laboring in, helped ease contractions and let me float between contractions which really gave my body a break. It was like my body completely relaxed once I was in there, which I really think helped move things along. For the actual birth I found it almost comforting to be in there if that makes sense lol I was also really afraid of tearing and I knew having a water birth was supposed to help reduce that (I didn't end up tearing so I think that is true). It was also great because the water helped support me in a deep squat position, so I could push without exerting/exhausting my legs. I was able to deliver my baby myself and pull her up to my chest, that was such an incredible experience. I'm planning to have another water birth with my current pregnancy, but this time at home (as long as everything goes according to plan). If you have anymore questions shoot me a message any time. I labored in the water for many hours and i felt it was helpful for my back labor & contractions. It allowed me to put more of my weight on my arms and less weight on my back and legs and relax my lower body a little more.
I didn’t get to birth in the water because when it came to pushing I was so exhausted from labor I couldn’t hold myself up anymore and had to lay on the bed. 
But I really want to try with my next baby to birth in the water
