Mommy and me swimming classes during pandemic. Good idea or no?
Hey y’all! So there’s a college about 45 minutes from my house about to start offering indoor mommy and me swimming classes every Saturday for a few months starting next weekend that a friend of mine is doing and told me about. Our family has been very cautious since March last year when COVID-19 began, so we don’t go out and do anything hardly ever. It’s definitely gotten me down as I’m sure it has many people being so isolated and anxious. I’ve put our lives on pause for a while and I feel like I need to try to live a little and enjoy life, because I keep waiting for the day covid just goes away to go out and not be scared, but it doesn’t seem like it’s going away anytime soon. My 17 month old son has hardly had any kind of interaction with the outside world since he’s been born and I thought maybe it would be good for both of us to get out and do this together once a week assuming they have adequate precautions in place. Does it seem like a good idea? Has anyone else done this and enjoyed it? If not, is there something else we could do just to get out of the house? Thanks everyone!
