no, i was diagnosed with BV yesterday and i’m pregnant. it happens, very common. they put me on medication for it and they said it should clear up. it’s not an STD. your boyfriend is stupid. 🙄

As others have said, it’s just BV which is very common and not an STD (it could be triggered by sex if the sex causes a disruption in your vaginal flora, but it’s not something you would have caught from someone like an STD)

It’s usually caused by an hormonal imbalance. Your PH could just be off... Antibiotics should clear it up. Tell your boyfriend to do research before jumping to conclusions! Plenty of women have had this and it’s super common.
