Hi everyone i came on here to ask if its okay that i still have to ask my parents for permission to go out and they sometimes get upset im not at home when they say to get there. Im 20!

While you are an adult, if you live under their roof unfortunately you still have to abide by some rules. I’m 21 and moved out when I just turned 20 and prior to moving out I still had to ask for permission to do things and go places but since I’ve been on my own they don’t care.

At the moment unless necessary you shouldn't be going out anyway but 20 or not, if you're living under their roof then yes  they have every right to be annoyed

I moved out at 17 but was told if I stayed, if I wasn't home by 11:00 then I just need to stay eose where. And I definitely can agree with them.
