Why do my eyes flicker for few seconds when I turn on the lights?

I’ve been to the eye doctor couple times. My eyes are fine except for dry eye. But sometimes when I turn on the light switch my eyes flicker for few seconds. Has this happen to anyone? It’s not the light it’s my eyes. Maybe the LED lights are too bright? Soo annoyed !!

My eyes have a focusing problem so when I turn on it off lights my eyes have to work harder to readjust and focus back in to what I was looking at. If that sounds like something you deal with it could just be one of your eyes has a hard time focusing xx

I don't know what you mean by flicker but pupils have to adjust to sudden or bright lights. So it's normal for your eyelids to close or struggle to stay wide open in those situations.

Just your eyes adjusting to the light. If the optician says your eyes are fine then I wouldn’t worry
