Little nomad playmat

I’ve been working on updating our playroom for our son and have been looking into getting a mat for the area instead of a carpet. Specifically the little nomad playmat. I’m torn though because, some reviews are amazing while others say it’s a horrible product. I’m hoping someone on here has actually experience with this product and give me some insight.
