Flu Shot

Has anyone gotten the flu shot. If so did you have any issues or did it affect baby? I’m in the army and flu shots are mandatory for all service members. I told my leadership I was against getting it while pregnant and they said they needed an exemption with justification for not getting it (apparently being pregnant isn’t justification enough 🙄).. I called the legal office and asked for their help. They said to call back tomorrow and they’ll try to get me an attorney who can help. I’ve decided that even if there is nothing the attorney can do, i still won’t get it and I’m just going to have to deal with the consequences from my leadership. I know there is a high chance getting the flu shot won’t negatively affect baby but there is still a chance it could. Plus I always get sick whenever I get the flu vaccine and I am not willing to risk it. I just don’t want to go through all this trouble for nothing. Am I tripping? Should I just get it? Army or not they shouldn’t have this much control on what I choose to put in my body especially if there is a baby in it!!!
