It’s been like two whole days should we take her to the ER? UPDATED

Question

Roommate hasn’t eaten in 2 days. Has been throwing up for 2 days because she’s pregnant. She’s pale, I can tell she feels horrible and I’m having anxiety about her becoming dehydrated. 
What do I do when she says no but it’s like a serious thing that she hasn’t eaten anything or even drank water and keeps throwing up bile. 
I took all the advice I got her saltines and even preggo pops but she’s like the walking dead and had no interest in anything. I know I sound like an Asshole but it’s coming from a place of “I’ve never been pregnant before so I don’t know but I’m really worried about you.”
She is pale and hasn’t moved, just gets up to puke and then lay back down
Oh and I should probably add like I told her how bad it was that she wasn’t getting any hydration and she’s going to get severely ill if she doesn’t at least try to eat or drink but she’s like “no” straight up
I’m not forcing anything on her. She’s sick to the point of being delirious and it’s shitty af to just sit here and watch her go through that and offer no help.
Okay here’s an update. I think that her saying no isn’t being hardheaded, I think she’s just exhausted from barfing and is so damn sick that she’s not realizing how sick she is. She ran out of bile earlier and was just dry heaving and all but crawled into my room and requested the weirdest thing. 
She wanted stew, vegetable stew with beef. 
And then laid on the floor, so I helped her up and got her to the bed and made the stew and she had an entire bowl and went to sleep
ETA: she’s like 13 weeks along
I just have a question. How are women expected to work and keep up with daily life duties when pregnant, when pregnancy can make you this sick. She’s so sick it scares me and if it wasn’t for her just deciding to inhale veggie stew I would have legit carried her to the hospital like please rehydrate my friend. 
It’s weird as fuck that I know this but she hasn’t been peeing, the bathroom is right next to my bed and when you live with someone in a small space it’s just all up in each other’s business, and she goes to the bathroom, pukes and then flushes the toilet and walks out. 
After the stew girl finally peed. Then just went back to sleep.

Do you know of any family members you can call? I mean, if she’s not wanting to go on her own, you can’t force her, but maybe a close family member can try to talk her into letting them take her. Maybe the Father of the child, if he’s in the picture? Do you think she’s not eating or drinking because she’s scared it’ll make her vomit more? Regardless, it doesn’t take much to get dehydrated, especially if she’s pregnant, so as a friend, I’d try to push the fluids, but like I said above, you can’t force anyone to do something they don’t want to do..☹️

Unfortunately you can’t force her but if she is indeed pregnant- going that long without food or hydration is very important to be seen. The baby definitely needs it. They tell moms to come in after 48 hours of not being able to keep anything down. She can get very dehydrated and lead to feeling worse. They will give her medication to help her. Women get it all the time pregnant. Tell her to put her big girl panties on and take care of herself and her baby or you will have someone come get her.

Have her eat pedialyte ice pops/ this was me during my pregnancy and it was horrible. The pedialyte ice pops helps hydrate and give you some electrolytes.

I already commented saying she should go to the ER/call an ambulance because she’s not in the right state and needs help ASAP. 
You asked how can pregnant ladies keep with daily life duties if they feel this sick. First of all, she shouldn’t be this sick. If she is, she needs help. Pregnancies can become complicated and honestly anything can happen. This is when a great support system would be useful. If she has a partner or family or good friends that’s when they would help out. Honestly, sometimes women do get very sick and need help for example if they are put on bed rest or like in this situation. It would really suck if she has no one close to her but her roommate. I hope you would be willing to help her out, you sound like a good person whose already concerned anyway. It’s definitely not easy to be put in that situation and at that point if the person needs help, just get them help even if they refuse. That’s what I would do for my sister, my friend, etc because she’s not eating, drinking and consistently vomiting. She’s definitely is dehydrated and needs fluids in her. This is why we need a good support system, each of us not only as women but as human beings. Unfortunately, not everyone is blessed.

This was me and I needed to go to the ER. They’ll give her fluids and check on her baby and then give her medicine. She most likely has hyperemesis gravidarum if it’s that bad :(

Sounds like she has HG, which is horrible. She needs medication and probably some iv fluids. Do you know where she goes to the OB? You can call and talk to the nurses line, a lot of OB offices do fluids in office nowadays if you can’t convinced her to go to the ER this weekend. Do you have a kfc near you? I (and a friend who also had HG) lived off of their mashed potatoes.

This was me wen I was pregnant with my son , anything I ate came back up , anything I drank came right back up so I understand her pain , I was scared of eating because the thought of throwing it back up. Try to give her pedialyte or Gatorade. Something with electrolytes. She may not be thinking about foot but it honestly helped me wen someone asked me what I was craving and they went out their way to get it. I literally could only eat something I was craving for and i barely had a craving for anything . 
But I do suggest calling someone in her family or the paramedics because it isn’t healthy for her or the baby . They will most likely put an IV to give her fluids . I hope and pray she feels better soon

I would call the ambulance to come check her out and they will tell her if she is in need of medical help just warn them that’s she pregnant before hand in case they need someone specially trained

Is she drinking any thing? Drinking should be the main concern at this point and if she is urinating. Yes I know the urine part may sounds creepy bc she’s a adult but still
