Co-q10 while pregnant???

Is it safe to consume co-q10 while pregnant? What brand are you taking??

Answer

I was taking ubiquinol which is the active form of Co-q10 while TTC but have stopped taking it now that I’m pregnant as it isn’t recommended during pregnancy. Lots of vitamins say not to take while pregnant not because of any known risks but because they haven’t tested it in pregnancy so can’t say that there isn’t a risk.
