Worst parenting moments aaaand go.

So my son is 4, and I used to, but since he was 10months repeating “shit” climbing over a pile of laundry I usually DO NOT curse. but lately I’ve been struggling and cursing here and there and I’ve been down/depressed and exhausted so more frequently tripping on toys I’m too tired to clean up at the end of the day. Apparently I say “mother fucker” when it really hurts. Because he walked up to me so innocently the other day and says “you know what I say when I get hurt?” I’m thinking oh this ought to be good we’ve been in the Bible and I’ve been teaching him kind words and trying to help him learn, and he said “mother fucker” with such clarity and pride. I just shrunk and told him I was proud of how well he was paying attention to me but that’s a really bad word and adults sometimes use it, mom has too, but it’s not a kind word and not good to use.

Anyhow.

And in another moment shortly before or after I can’t remember he said “when brother goes down I’m going to have time with Jesus” and sat on the couch and looked at the pictures in his children’s Bible.

So I’m not messing it ALL up but had to share 😂🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️
