Is my baby age calculated by due date or birth date?

My baby was born at 41+1. He is 6 weeks based on his birth date. Do I instead adjust age based on due date? I don’t mean adjust his birthday but when I look up milestones, development by week etc do I base it off due date or birth date?

I believe the adjustment is only measured with babies born prematurely. 
Premature babies are usually behind on milestones. I haven’t heard about babies born late being ahead. 
Every baby is different though and the milestones ages are just a guideline

When he was born. That’s the date that is on the birth certificate and hospital records. Due date doesn’t really matter once your baby has arrived.
