Only children

I was going to post this in the pregnancy room, but I feel like it might be a good debate!

I just had a baby in October and people are already asking when we plan on having another baby.

Before we got married we talked about 2 kids, but I would honestly be happy with just one.

My parents and sister all have told me on multiple occasions that having only one baby is selfish. They claim that if your baby is an only child they will have no one to play with and will be lonely and spoiled.

So I guess that’s the debate; is having only one baby selfish?

(Not talking about secondary infertility, adoption or any inability to have a second baby)
