Should I drink protein shakes?

So I have a question about protein shakes. I currently want to lose about 10lbs and I also want to gain some muscle on my legs, booty, and upper body. So my question is should I drink protein shakes or would the protein shakes just make me gain weight rather than lose weight.

Here is some info about me.

I am a 22-year-old 5'0 female. I currently weigh 118lbs and I want to weigh about 110lbs. I do home works outs with resistance bands and a few free weights. I do 10mins of jump rope after each workout and I workout for about 1hour every day and I do an abs workout every other day right before bed. Right now I have been trying on cutting my calorie intake. I try to eat healthy and clean but since I still live at home I sort of don't have a say on what I can eat. I cook for my family almost every day but my family wants homecooked Hispanic meals they don't want to eat "diet food". So we just eat Mexican food. What I do is just serve myself smaller portions.

About 3 years ago I used to weigh 140lbs and started my weight loss journey. I lost about 38lbs and the lowest weight was 102lbs. I lost this weight by doing LOTS of cardio and eating salads and chicken. At my lowest weight, I did not feel comfortable in my body because I felt too "skinny" and people would tell me all the time that looked I sick. So I decided to gain some weight and I gained about 10lbs and I maintained a weight of 110-113lbs for about 2 years. I started going to the gym regularly about 6months before covid started and I really got into weight lifting. I started noticing that my legs and back began to tone up and where I was finally comfortable with my body. I did not drink any protein shakes or was on any sort of diet. But I could never get rid of my tummy fat even at my lowest weight i still had some sort of tummy fat. When Covid hit the gyms closed and i honestly stopped working out and I let myself go. I gained weight and lost any sort of muscle I have gained.

So any advice? Should I drink protein shakes? Any tips and tricks?
