Period after birth?

Hi guys, I stopped bleeding about 4 weeks after the birth of my baba. 
It’s now been six weeks and I’ve started bleeding again. Is this my period? I didn’t think it was coming as I’ve been exclusively breast feeding.

It probably is. Breastfeeding will usually keep it from coming back, but a lot of woman will get it regardless. If you completely stopped bleeding and now are again after more than a few days, it is definitely your period.

I would say it’s a period. I got mine back at 12 weeks PP after both of mine while EBF. Breastfeeding does not stop your period of ovulation. Some women are just lucky and don’t get one until they are done breastfeeding
