Tips for choosing an OB/midwife practice
Hello ladies! I just had my 2nd prenatal appt this morning and I am SO much happier with this ob/midwife office compared to my first pregnancy! I actually feel listened to and feel this office treats their patients as equal partners in their care. So if I could go back in time and tell my past self what to watch out for/questions to ask before choosing an OB it would be:
1) Does the practitioner take time to answer all of your questions/concerns without rushing you?
2) Do they believe your ovulation date (if you were tracking) and it's later or earlier than what they say?
3) What is their induction rate and under what circumstances do they induce?
So let's help each other out! Second/third/fourth time moms, what advice would you give to a first timer or to your past self?
Achieve your health goals from period to parenting.
