What to expect your first Pap smear??

Just wondering cause I’m nervous. What do they ask? I’m assuming they ask about your sex life but how??? Do they ask how may people? Do they ask if your a virgin?? Do they ask about masturbation???????!!

My first pap she asked if I was sexually active, how many partners I had in the last six months, if I use protection, do I want them to check for any STI’s, etc.

They only ask questions that would affect your health. At my first appointment they asked me how many partners I’ve had, if I wanted to check for STIs, asked if I had any concerns, and if I had any discomfort during sex. It’s not a pleasant trip, but don’t feel like you’re being judged! They’re there to help you and make sure you’re healthy to keep on doing what your doing! Try to relax as much as possible, I tensed up a few times during my first appointment and it makes it a little uncomfy down there.lol goodluck!
