Bloody show? Or spotting???

Please help! I went in for a pelvic exam. My normal OB was sick so I had a sub. She literally gave no warning as she plunged her hand way up and it hurt. She said that was normal? And then on my way home I had major back pain and cramps. When I got home I went to the bathroom and wiped what looked like mucus tinged with blood. Since I've had more what looked like mucus and diarrhea. My cramps keep coming and going, but it's nothing I can't handle...I called the office and told them what happened and they dismissed my question completely. Thoughts????
