From one to two kids?

My June baby was my first and my husband and I are going to start trying again this summer. I’m nervous about the transition from one to two. How do I find more love in my heart? Will my firstborn become jealous? How do you even handle two (or more)?

We are in the same boat. Our June 20219 baby is out only child. And we want to start trying for #this summer as well. Bjt when we talk about it we bet sad that she won't have all of our attention 🥺 its so sad to think about. 
But I've talked to a lot of parents about that. My mom's answer gives me the most comfort. She says 
"You think you weren't even alive until your first child is born. Then you think,no one could ever love anyone as much as I love this tiny thing I grew. Then when you have another baby, you just grow a whole nother heart to fill to the top with more love"

It’s hard! I had so much guilt, like how do I do this to my first child, and then I felt so bad for June baby because she’d never have my full attention like my older child did! It’s hard to explain. But you love each child the same. Having a second doesn’t take ANY love away from the first. Its like
You get a another heart that holds all the love for the next child.   It’s definitely a hard switch, but I think becoming a first time parent is a much harder transition. The second time around, you have an idea of what can/will happen. And kids adjust better than adults do, I swear my toddler did way better with June baby’s birth than I did 😂

In my opinion, 1-2 was easier than 0-1. We are rocking the 2 under 2 life and my June baby is OBSESSED with her little sister. There has been zero jealousy, surprisingly. We try to include Charlotte with every we do for the baby, they tubby together, she helps burp her, we read to them together, she brings me a diaper or burp cloth.
I had major mom guilt bc I got pregnant when Charlotte was 6.5 months old. I was so upset bc I didn’t feel like I had enough time with just her. I had no idea how I would love another baby like I love her. Honestly, I did not connect with #2 like I did with Char. It took me almost 10 weeks to really bond and connect with her. I felt like a terrible parent. Now #2 is 16 weeks and I can’t imagine life without her!!
