IVF financial question

I’ve recently begun accepting my fate that a natural pregnancy isn’t in the cards for me. We will try 2 rounds of IUI and then my RE says we have no more time to waste (as I’m that lovely ‘geriatric pregnancy’), and the next and last step is IVF. I’ve been looking at the costs and they’re pretty daunting. I see so many women going through the same struggles, and without getting too much in everyone’s business, I’m just wondering how the heck people pay for this (and multiple rounds)?? I’m terrified of spending all our money trying to have a baby and not having any left to actually raise it. Any IVF mamas out there, how did you do it (and without having constant anxiety about the financial aspect)?
