I pretty much only got it done to find out the gender early

Opted out as it wouldn’t change anything for me and there are so many false positives that come from these tests that lead to potential anxiety and just the hassle of follow up testing. Not necessary in my mind. Didn’t with my first either

I opted out because it wasn’t covered by insurance and I felt my risk is low enough to not worry as much. If it was covered then I’d do it just because it was an option so why not.

Yes I’m 33 but I got it done this time, took 8 business days and confirmed gender today.

With my first 2 I opted not to.  I’m technically under 35 now, but will be 35 at delivery so they recommended it for me to do it this time.  I just really wanted to see gender early and since I’m now considered high risk because of my age at delivery it’s covered 100% by my insurance.

I opted in but my husband and I prefer more information than too little. All the info about our little one, yes please!

I have a known balance translocation (chromosomal abnormality that can be passed) so I did it with this one and my previous last year. Also confirmed the gender of both 😊
