Can PCOS cause heart problems?

I have no heart problems at all nor does it run in my family. I was reading an article that an women who had PCOS develop heart problems.

I have PCOS,but I hope my question isn't true nor other health problems

It is linked to type 2 diabetes which can cause heart issues.

So genetically and because of pcos, you are more prone to diabetes. Pcos makes you insulin resistant. If that isn't under control, as Yaya said, you can develop cardiovascular issues

I don't have diabetes,but my dad has it.
