Epidural side effects?

Has anyone had any side effects after getting the epidural? 
I remember just shaking a lot and I think I got headaches after. It’s been a while so I don’t remember much. I just don’t want to feel like I’m drunk or gonna pass out

The epidural doesn’t affect your cognitive functions. That happens if you get IV meds or opioid shots.
A headache after the epidural is a potential side effect. I had it with my first and it resolved within 3 days. I didn’t have any issues with my second.

I got the shakes but that was no big deal. I did however get the post dural puncture headache where they misplace it and it goes to far. I had too much spinal fluid going up to my brain from it. Most likely it was the guy who did it though because he screwed it up 2 times and then screwed up my two blood pressure he’s afterwards too🙄 so that’s my only reason for not wanting one this go around but I think the epidural is an amazingggg thing that was invented lol. You shouldn’t have any bad symptoms from it other than your common shakes! 😊

I have reactions to all anesthesia meds. Had an epidural with all my kids and this last time the person giving me the shot listened, and didn't give me as much. I've thrown up with every baby except this one (last baby I was throwing up and that caused her to start coming 😳). This time I got a little light headed due to my blood pressure dropping when it was first inserted, but I didn't have a headache and didn't throw up. I felt so much better after birth! I was incredibly happy with the results this time.

I have had 3 epidurals. My first I got a head ache, second was absolutely fine with no side effects. 3rd (2weeks ago) I had the shakes so bad! Like uncontrollable for so long and I was super ichy too 🤷🏼‍♀️ it wasn't bad enough to put me off tho!
