There’s this trend on TikTok about writing to a prisoner who you found on a site called writeaprisoner.com

In the trend some people were idolizing the people they were writing to, some were murderers, rapist, or just had convictions for weed. Some people were also going against it saying that you shouldn’t give out your address to these people for safety reasons or they should at least get a P.O. Box. It was also worrying because some people that were hopping on the trend may have been underage and some may not understand how serious or dangerous it could be. Usually females used to do this a lot but now it’s people from all ages, genders and identities have done this for whatever reason.
