*TMI* Dying mouse climbs into unreachable space?
We have a small mouse problem right now. I hate to kill mice and would rather not, so I try to catch them alive. I also have a cat, who gets to them before I can on occasion. I just watched my cat accidently lose a mouse, and I watched the mouse climb it's way into a crack in a space under the cabinet under my sink (I cannot access this 'space' without breaking my cabinet). Problem is, the mouse left its entire intestinal system laying in the living room (I really have no idea how he stayed alive long enough to run away). So, I'm sure the mouse has perished under there. My question is, because this mouse is going to start decomposing, am I gonna have to tear apart my cabinet to retrieve a dead mouse before it starts to stink? I've not had this happen before so I'm at a loss, please don't be too hard on me if this seems like a stupid question lol 😂.
*Edit* @Lindsey It was that particular mouse's insides. I know because (again TMI) there was a significant blood trail. Aaand I saw him, and it looked horrible. I really do feel bad for the little guy 😢
