Hello!

My husband and I have an 8 month old daughter and it took us over a year to get pregnant with her. When I went to the OB after I had her, I opted to not go on birth control, because I would be thrilled to have another one, and thought since it took so long to have her it would happen again...

Anyways - one slip up mid January (January 9) resulted in an extremely faint pregnancy test Thursday😀. I thought it was just a shadow because when I wiped, there was blood, and I thought I was starting my period.

My period never really came though, just have spotting whenever I wipe. Most of the time irs orangey brown, but one time there was a small clot (this was Wednesday). I had my hcg tested and Wednesday it was 174 and this morning my HCG was 537!

I’m still so confused. I thought that maybe I was having a chemical since I had the spotting. The dr. just called and they want me to retest Monday to see if it’s still rising.

Anyone else have any kind of story similarly to this that resulted in a healthy baby?
