I moved out of state and I got a new OBGYN and I’m not a fan.

She is very young, very by the book and her staff acts annoyed with me and has given me attitude.

Basically, I’ve had early losses in the past due to dropping progesterone. My OBGYN back in my home state was amazing and had me on progesterone immediately and I had one successful pregnancy.

This doctor doesn’t believe in progesterone and said new studies show it doesn’t help or make a difference. I asked to have my levels checked and they were lower than I’ve ever had them before. I am 5 weeks pregnant.

She said she’s not concerned. The nurses bounced my phone calls around all day Friday as I asked for a prescription anyways and I just snapped on one nurse because she didn’t take me serious (kept laughing and calling me hun).

In the end, she sent over a prescription that isn’t covered by my insurance ($400 out of pocket) and it’s now the weekend so I can’t get anything resolved until Monday.

I’m a nervous wreck. I’m disgusted and I want a new doctor and office completely.

Will a new office take me even though I began my pregnancy elsewhere? I’ve never had this happen to me before. I’m just disgusted and hurt and I hate feeling like a burden.
