Mother frantically calls 911 for formula in the middle of the night
So I just watched a YouTube video of a mother who called 911 when her breast milk dried up in the middle of the night and she had no way to feed her 6 week old newborn baby.
Her husband was out of town for work and she had 4 other sleeping children.
It was 2am and she called 6 of her neighbors first and her mom but no one answered.
Her baby wailed in hunger but she had no breast milk or formula to give the baby. She called 911 and the police came and delivered her some formula from the local Walmart.
So I scrolled to the comment section and many thought the women was lazy and entitled. Saying she didn’t want to do all the work to load her kids in the car to get formula. Instead she wanted someone else to do it for her. Called all her neighbors and mom in the middle of the night in the hopes they would to go to the store for her. Then called 911 to have them deliver it just so she didn’t have to do the work to get it.
I’m torn on how I feel because I do see having to wake up 4 kids and bringing a crying hungry newborn baby to the store in the middle of the night is huge pain in the ass, but also very possible just very inconvenient. It doesn’t say when the last time the baby ate. So we don’t know how crucial time was to feed the baby. If waking all the kids up loading them in the car, bringing them in the store buying formula then driving home and making a bottle would of been to risky and dangerous to wait that long.
I don’t know you can look the video up on YouTube if you want. But what’s your opinion did she do the right thing by calling 911? Or is she entitled and lazy to expect someone else to do it for her since it would of been a huge inconvenience to get it herself?
