Weekly fights about little things
We've been married for almost 2 years now and live in Chicago city. I'm white 25f, he's an Indian immigrant 31m. We never fight about big things because we know they require big conversations, but we get caught up fighting over small things all the time. Every single weekend we get in fights about what we should do. He's focused on studying for work to help us financially, I'm happy with my work situation and don't have that same motivation to get better. We're in a 1br apt and both work from home, no private space. Add to the fact I don't feel safe going out without him, I've not had personal space since the pandemic began unless he goes out on an errand without me, maybe once a month. (There's been a lot of crime and creeps out on the local streets at all hours whenever we go out. No way am I walking alone.) Add to this that we have no car and I have no friends living nearby, I'm in a bad place. I'm tired of our fights where we're both the bad guy- me for trying to drag him away from his studies and him for not helping me get out of the house. I just don't know what we're supposed to do considering the pandemic. Not sure what my question even is- general advice on our situation appreciated...
