When should I pack my hospital and baby bag?

I kept a list of what I needed to pack on my phone and packed as I was heading into the hospital. I used all my stuff I was packing daily and weekly so it didn’t make sense to pack it beforehand. I’ve always wondered how people can pack bags earlier lol. I did pack my baby’s diaper bag (1 outfit and 1 blanket) early, but not mine or my husband’s.

I don’t pack til like the week before I have them 🤷🏻‍♀️ so 37 weeks

I pack my hospital bag while I’m on the way. It helps me spend more time at home and contract as much as I can so that way I don’t get sent home.
Plus I pack light since I only stay 24hrs.

I’m going to pack mine at 30 weeks just because I’ve been stressed about getting everything ready through this entire process, and I’m terrified about going into preterm labor. If anything having it done will put my mind at ease

I usually do it last minute 😂 like 38 weeks. If I did it when contractions started I wouldn’t make it to the hospital in time or I wouldn’t have time to finish packing as I labour fast

I was just told at my 30 week to get it started and have at least the basics packed away now, just in case because of covid if theres an early labor situation he cant leave and come back with things so they told me better to be prepared

i packed a small emergency bag around 18wks because i’ve been having fainting spells and i absolutely can’t stand how cold it is in the ER. i’m waiting until the last day to pack an actual bag to help keep my mind off of contractions

I haven't packed yet and I'm 36weeks +3. My kiddos bag is getting packed today or tomorrow, I'll start packing mine after my appt on Monday.
