When did you all pay your bill for your prenatal visits /childbirth?

My ob office does it all as a package once you have your baby. But mine was born 6 weeks ago and I haven't seen anything in the mail? Did you get it at your follow up appointment or in the mail?

Mine are apparently due months before the baby is born. 🤔 still haven’t figured that one out.

All your prenatal appointments are hopefully covered by insurance. Our birth payments weren’t billed for probably about 2 months after with our first.

Mine just took a long time to process! It all comes after the baby, nice little surprises lol. Love that you have no idea the cost until its done 🙄

I paid my prenatal appointments as I had them and at the birth they handed me the bill in the room before we left.

I had to pay $550 because my deductible wasn’t met. I paid during my appointments at the office

It can take awhile for them to process with your insurance, but the dr office admin went over everything with me and what to expect to pay per my insurance plan around 30 weeks. Then I got other bills from the pediatrician and hearing tests, took maybe 6-8 weeks. You also need to add your baby to your insurance and notify the hospital. I got an enormous bill a couple of times from the hospital because it took awhile to get the baby added to my insurance, so they had to refile the bill once I had baby added
